It Takes A Village
Ministry isn't a solo performance - it's a symphony of faithful servants working together in Christ's love. Today we celebrated the beautiful truth that it takes a village to build God's kingdom.
From our retired pastors who've served for decades to our newest leaders stepping into their calling, each person plays a vital role in the body of Christ. Just like the pinky toe - small but mighty when you stub it! Every part matters, whether you're leading from the front or serving behind the scenes.
What does it take to be in ministry? A willing heart. The heart of a dove and the skin of a rhinoceros. Complete submission to the Holy Spirit. And most importantly, a love for Jesus that says "I'll do whatever You say, come what may."
We're reminded that this isn't about building our ministry - it's about faithfully stewarding HIS ministry. It's not about people following us, but about pointing everyone to Jesus.
To everyone who serves, leads, prays, gives, cleans, greets, teaches, and loves in this community - you are seen, you are valued, and you are making an eternal difference. When one part suffers, we all suffer. When one part is honored, we all rejoice.
Let's continue to speak truth in love, serve generously with cheerful hearts, and build each other up in Christ. Because together, we are stronger. Together, we are the body of Christ.
